Oven-Roasted Wild Alaskan Salmon with Avocado Oil and Seasoning
You all know how much I love my ButcherBox wild Alaskan Salmon! Here’s my easy-breezy fifteen-minute salmon recipe. This simple recipe highlights the delicious flavor of ButcherBox wild Alaskan salmon with a touch of avocado oil and your favorite seasoning. It’s quick, easy, and perfect for a healthy and satisfying weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 wild Alaskan salmon fillets (skin on)
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- Your favorite dry seasoning (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Using a sharp knife, make a few shallow cuts through the skin of the salmon. This will allow the seasoning and oil to penetrate and help for easier skin removal later.
- Drizzle the salmon fillets with avocado oil and sprinkle generously with your chosen seasoning.
- Bake the salmon for 8-10 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a minute or two before serving.
Tips:
- Experiment with different dry seasonings to find your favorite flavor combination.
- If you prefer a crispier skin, place the salmon under the broiler for 1-2 minutes after baking.
- Serve the salmon with your favorite roasted vegetables, rice, or quinoa.
